Margam Festival

A varied programme of music, arts and culture at the Margam Festival.

For the first time this year we are fortunate to have the opportunity to offer two days of guided walks by an experienced walker and member of the Friends of Margam Park, Bill Perkins.

Bill has kindly structured two walks the first is to be held on Sunday 6^th July. This walk will take approximately 4 hours with an introduction to the buildings, scenery and wildlife this beautiful park boasts including Hen Eglwys, Mynydd y Castell and the castle itself.

The second walk takes place on Sunday 20^th of July and takes to the hills of the north east of the park taking in Margam’s most ancient sites including the forts on Moel Tonmawr, Bwlwarcau and Twmpath Diwlith. This walk will take approximately 5 hours.

Both walks are free and begin at 11 am from the entrance to Margam Castle.
